Win a hockey autograph of my choice for answering this one:

There have been many errors in engraving the Stanley Cup, but this goalie has his name on the Cup even though he had been retired for a year. Who is it?

You have until noon Friday to submit an answer, all answers will be hidden until then.  Good luck!!!

There was a tie:  The autographed cards go to Brian and Scott.  Email your favorite teams and I can see what I can do!

Thats a great question. I hadn’t heard about that one before. My favorite Cup engraving is the 1945 Maple Leafs one where assistant manager Frank Selke has his name engraved as F.J. Selke (ASS MAN).Hilarious!

The only player I know whose name was on the cup even though he was retired is Vladimir Konstantinov for the Red Wings but he was not a goalie.

    Well…
