I am hoping this is a tough one!

On November 23, 1966, a Don Meredith long touchdown pass to Bob Hayes covered how many yards in the air by itself?

As always, winner will receive a nice autographed, game used or serial numbered insert.  You have until Sunday night at 6pm to answer.  All answers will be kept secret until the end.  Good luck everyone!!!

Hi, I believe it was 83 yards in the air. Thanks.

  2. I believe it was a 95 yard passing play that hung in the air for 83 of those yards. Didn’t it happen on November 13th, though?

    Hey Chemgod,
I have an answer but I think there may be an error in you question November 23 1966 was a Wednesday so I’m thinking it’s part of the two TD’s he caught on 11/13/1966. One of which was a 95 yarder. But this is atrick question your looking for just how far in the air not total yardage so my answer is a guess at 68 yards.

There was no game on the 23rd. Trick question or are did you mistype it. If you mean’t the nov. 13th game then the pass was 95 yds.

    Thanks for organizing this contest!

    95 yards

  9. okay, so first, the cowboys did not play a game on Nov 23, 1966. So I’ll assume you meant Nov 13, 1966 as this is when Dandy Don threw a 95 yard touchdown to Bullet Bob that went 83 yards in the air.
