There have been a lot of iconic cards and profiles in baseball history, but one of the things you almost never see anymore is the unibrow.  Thanks to manscaping becoming more and more previlent, the idea of a unibrow is almost gone.  However back in the 1950s and 60s that wasn’t the case and a young man by the name of Wally Moon went on to prove that you can succeed with a unibrow.

Wally won the Rookie of the Year award in 1954, and had a great 12 year career with the Cardinals and the Dodgers.  He was an All Star in 1957 and 1959 and won a Gold Glove in 1960.  As the series of cards will show you, at no time in his 12 year career did anyone offer him up a Bic disposable razor.

He may be a member of the First At Bat For A Homerun Club but he isn’t going to win best groomed anytime soon.  So I ask my faithful readers to make the call . . . best unibrow in baseball history or not! If not, please tell us whose is/was better?

Wow, at first I thought someone had photoshopped that in. Definitely in on the first ballot in the unibrow HOF.

Sammy Stewart a former pitcher during the 80’s had a gnarly unibrow. Wally’s reminds me of Bert from Sesame Street, also gnarly.

Andy Etchebarren is in the ball park but Moon is the BEST!

  6. Hoboken Zephyr says:

    FRank Zupo, Orioles.
