Living in the North Carolina Triangle allows a baseball fan like me a very cool opportunity year after year.  Every year since I moved down here, I have made it a point to go to see the team every year just to get their autograph.  I have gotten everyone from Troy Toluwitzki, Alex Gordon, Pedro Alverez, Justin Smoak, and Gerrit Cole.  Mrs. Chemgod and I went to see this year’s installment of the USA Collegiate Baseball Team.

I got every player to sign and Mrs. Chemgod also got every player to sign an index card for me.  I plan on turning the index cards into cut autographs and the bat will remain forever in my personal collection.  Here are the pictures:

    Nice, I’ve got the AFLAC game out here. I would love to go see those guys at the USA complex one day, before they becomce pricks (and superstars) in the majors. Appel and Marrero are good ones!

    Props to Mrs Chemgod….back in the day, mine would have done it, and did do it, now after 21 yrs, NO CHANCE!!! then again this is the same women who must walk past a 6 ft by 4 ft panel of blue from the old outfield wall of Yankee Stadium, courtesy of Steiner Sports everytime she walks down the hall to our master bedroom!!! She stood in many a lines with me when the Yankees held their yearly Fan Festivals in the early 90’s
