I’m still creating new Hall of Fame booklets and here is my newest, this is volume one of two (since there was only one selected in 1938 and many selected in 1939).  This one contains Grover Alexander, Eddie Collins, Cap Anson, Charles Comiskey and Buck Ewing.  The most difficult to find were Cap Anson and Buck Ewing.  Unfortunately it didn’t sell on eBay so this one is for my personal collection.  Let me know if you are interested in one.

    Another beautiful piece of art!

I like, especially since it has Alexander, a Phillie, on it. One problem, though, the Alexander photo is reversed! The “P” is going the wrong way; unless you were going for a ’57 Topps Aaron uncorrected error. Nice piece, though.

Great catch! The photo was reversed so that he was throwing towards the center of the card. Didn’t think anyone would notice. My readers are awesome!

This may be a stupid question, and I’m sorry if it is, but do you actually own all these autographs? Or do you just find scans of them?

    • chemgod says:

I own all of them . . . just kidding, but one of my family members does have an extensive collection that he scans for me.

Haha, very cool none the less. Your relative must have quite the collection. Like I said, very cool items, keep ’em coming. You should make a 1959 White Sox one 😉

I’ll take one if you no one else has requested one yet.
